President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has appointed Sharaf Sheralizoda as the country’s new ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain. The presidential decree was signed on June 30, 2025. Sheralizoda, who currently serves as acting Tajikistan’s ambassador to Switzerland, will now concurrently represent the county in Spain.
The Government of Tajikistan has officially approved a long-term national investment strategy extending through the year 2040. The Tajik president’s official website says the strategy was reviewed and adopted during a regular cabinet meeting held on June 30.
