India delivers another batch of COVID-19 vaccines to Tajikistan

A batch of COVID-19 vaccines – 698,500 doses of COVISHIELD, the Indian analogue of AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine – was delivered from India to Tajikistan yesterday night under the COVAX mechanism with the support from UNICEF.

India was the first country to deliver COVID-19 vaccines – 192,000 doses of COVISHILED – to Tajikistan in March 2021 under the COVAX mechanism. .
