Khujand, the capital of the Tajik northern province of Sughd, and the Uzbek city of Kokand have signed a memorandum on cooperation. The press center of the Sughd governor’s office says the document was signed by Khujand Mayor Firdvas Sharifzoda and Kokand Hokim Marouf Usmonov during a visit of a Sughd delegation to the Uzbek city of Fergana last week.
