As usual , the report from the Dushanbe Zoo caused a flurry of indignation and pity from commentators . The problem of zoo inhabitants has been for many decades - animals suffer here from heat and thirst in summer , from cold in winter , cramped in narrow cages . The conditions are simply torture .
