The 47-year-old Colonel Tohir Barotzoda, who had previously served as the Frist Deputy Head of the Interior Ministry Criminal Investigation, has been appointed to head this Directorate, replacing the 38-year-old Major-General Shohrukh Saidzoda.
Prior to this, Barotzoda had headed the department for disclosure of illegal property actions within the Criminal Investigation Directorate. .
