Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes, replacing chief of the counter-narcotics agency. A source within the Tajik government says that by presidents decree issued on November 18 Sherkhon Salimzoda was relieved of his post of Director of the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan for age reasons.

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon replaced Transport Minister Khudoyor Khudoyorzoda in a decree on August 31. Khudoyorzoda was retired. By another decree Azim Ibrohim, who had previously served as Deputy Prime Minister, was appointed as the new Minister of Transport. asiaplustj.info »

Доступ к чистой питьевой воде имеет 67% населения Таджикистана, из которых 41% жителей подключен к централизованным системам водоснабжения. Ежегодно этот показатель планируется увеличивать на 2-3%.
