In a significant step toward enhancing bilateral ties, Tajikistan and Mongolia signed a series of cooperation agreements following high-level talks between the two countries' leaders. The signing ceremony, held on January 24, was attended by Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon and Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, as reported by the Tajik president’s official website.
The Presidents of Tajikistan and Mongolia engaged in high-level discussions to enhance bilateral relations, focusing on trade, agriculture, and regional cooperation. The talks were held following a formal welcoming ceremony for Mongolia’s President, accompanied by an official delegation, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to establish a new Intergovernmental Council aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation across a broad range of sectors. The agreement was signed on July 8 in Dushanbe during the state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
