Tajik Communists have nominated their leader Miroj Abdulloyev to run for president.   An extraordinary congress of the Communist Party of Tajikistan (CPT) took place in Dushanbe on September 5. About 100 delegates from all regions of the country reportedly participated in the congress.

  They unanimously voted for nominating CPT leader Miroj Abdulloyev to run for president. .
