Asia- Plus has issued a correction regarding its June 17 article titled “Starting July 1, Tajikistan to impose 20% customs import duty on mobile phones. ”  The original publication inaccurately reported that the new customs duty would amount to 20% of the device’s value.

The error stemmed from a misinterpretation of Government Decree No. 346 , dated June 10, 2025. .
