EDB projects Tajikistan’s economy to rise 6.1 percent in 2021

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) forecasts an increase in the aggregate GDP of its member countries by 3.2% in 2021, after a 3.8% decline in 2020.  EDB’s Macroeconomic Forecast for 2020 says the countries in the Bank’s region of operations have been hit by major social and economic shocks this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
