Girls’ schools closed due to 'cultural constraints,' says Afghan acting education minister

The Deputy Minister of Education of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said on August 7 that the delay in reopening girls' schools was caused by problems in the curriculum for girls. TOLOnews says that during his visit to Khost Province, Nourullah Munir, the Acting Minister of Education, stated that girls' schools had been shut down due to cultural constraints.
