Tajikistan’s Agency for Hydrometeorology (Hydromet) has issued a warning about heavy snowfall expected in Dushanbe, its surrounding areas, and most regions of the country on January 22. Forecasters note increased risks on mountain roads and passes, including avalanches, icy conditions, snowdrifts, and sharply reduced visibility, which may significantly disrupt traffic.
