Ministerial semiannual news conferences expected to start on July 11

The Shuroi Ulamo (Council of Ulema – Tajikistan’s highest Islamic institution) has determined the exact date of celebration of Idi Qurbon, or Eid al-Adha in Arabic. A source within the Islamic Center of Tajikistan told Asia-Plus today that this year, celebration of Idi Qurbon, or Eid al-Adha in Arabic, falls on July 20.
