Roads in the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) that were affected by recent snow-slides, rockfalls and mudflows have been cleared of snow and slurry, according to Emergencies Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.
The country’s emergency management agency said on March 31 that 16 avalanches and rockfalls were registered in the region over the past day. .
